Lajoie And Spire Impress At Fontana
Corey Lajoie and Spire Motorsports may have just had their best run ever as a team at a non-super speedway. After starting 11th, Lajoie finished 12th in stage one and managed to score a single point in stage two, finishing 10th. When it was all said and done, Corey Lajoie cruised to a 14th place finish.
This didn't come without controversy though, as early on Lajoie made contact with Brad Keselowski . Then, Lajoie spun out after making contact with Tyler Reddick. This makes his 14th place run even more promising.
The same can't be said for teammate Ty Dillon finished 31st after his second straight DNF to start his tenure at Spire Motorsports. Overall, the pace Corey Lajoie showed should be encouraging to the team, and maybe they can keep the momentum coming.
